Mover FAQ's
Powrtouch
Movers
- What degree of slope will the
Powrtouch move a caravan up?
That depends on the maximum laden weight of
the caravan and the degree of the slope. As a
guide the Model 1 is rated for a 1200kgs caravan
up a 1:4 (25%) gradient. The Model 3 is rated
for a 1500kgs caravan up a 1:4 (25%) gradient.
- How much does the Powrtouch
weigh?
Approximately 37kg.
- Will a PowrTouch Mover fit my
caravan?
Will fit most UK and European manufactured
caravans with ALKO or BPW chassis. The standard
ALKO chassis have a depth of 8.25 inches
(210cms) and use the standard supplied fitting
kit. ALKO chassis with a depth of 6 inches
(150mm) require a spacer fitting kit.
Special top plates are available for
European return lip chassis e.g. some Hobby and
Geist) caravans.
Some of the early Lunar chassis with a depth
of less than 6 inches require special drop
plates and may require special quotation.
- What sort of battery do I
need?
PowrWheel recommend a minimum 85 amp leisure
battery for a single axle mover and a 110 amp as
advisable for Twin Axle Movers.
- What kind of guarantee do you
give?
No quibble five year parts guarantee.
Problems with your Mover can be discussed
directly with the Technical Support staff at
PowrWheel Products who will attempt to diagnose
